Hari seterusnya, kami teruskan lagi lawatan ke beberapa tempat di Beijing. Kami semua di bawa ke satu tempat yg dibuka sepanjang Sukan Olympic 2008 dan kedudukannya yg berada di bawah tanah, ianya digelar SUBWAY  apa ntah..

It's not that im bias towards Indonesian or prejudice. But, i cant stand with their boastful and arrogant attitudes. Terlalu berlagak dan lupakan diri..mcm kacang lupakan kulit. Tengok jalah kejadian2 yg jadi masa Sukan SEA ni. Bendera Jalur Gemilang kebanggaan kita, sengajakah atau tidak bila mereka hanya ada 6 jalur putih saja instead of 7? Kenapa tak dicheck dulu betol2? This is our pride, dignity, and our national flag. Bukan saja2 n suka2 buang jalur yg 14 tu n senang2 kurangkan. Bodo aar...

Jamuan Silang Budaya 2011

As Salam to all of u.

Jumaat lepas, kolej aku telah mengadakan Jamuan Silang Budaya sempena dengan sambutan Hari raya puasa. Actually, tiap2 tahun ada event ni. Tahun lepas dipanggil Sambutan 1 Malaysia. Tahun ni tukar nama, tapi program dia tetap sama ja. Semua practicum ada khemah masing2, kena wat ala2 open house concept, satu khemah 2 practicum share. Menu makanan tu ikut taste students practicum tu. Staffs pun ada khemah masing2...4 departments, ada nama seperti Rendang, Ketupat, Soto dan Lemang (kalo x salah aku la..hehehe).

Yang bestnya pada hari tu, mcm2 juadah ada..huhu..students pakat jemput lecturers depa pi open house..n makan..makan..makan!! Menu, mcm2 ada..sate, nasi impit...ketupat, laksa, nasi beriyani, bihun grg, nasi ujan panas, n. tomato, kuih muih...dan yg paling best, ada kambing panggang!! Huhu..terangkat..panazzz...

Annual sports day-my hero

Last week, i was supposed to work on Saturday, as a replacement for upcoming hari raya's break. Unfortunately, i cudnt work due to the Annual Sports Day that was held on the same day, and it involved my only son. Well of course it wasnt the hardest decision that i'd have to make, coz i know what shud i choose....my son.

Alhamdulillah....Another event has passed...successfully. I think this month is full with so many activites, English Week, ICT Exhibition and coming soon is next friday, in which i have to organize a farewell and retirement event for KMPP staffs, under KEBS.

Talking about the ICT Exhibition which was held on the 19/2/2011 from 8.00 a.m -4.00 p.m., i'm glad it was over. I cant imagine i had to get involved in the ICT thing, preparing activities-language games, and also had to create a slide show presentation and editing the videos etc. So, i had to try using PICASA software to make a short video clips using all the photos that i have captured before during my P&P.

Thank you for the cooperation given by some of my colleagues-not to mention few didnt even come and take a look at the booth at all!!- in decorating the English Unit booth, and make it a reality. I would like to show my appreciation towards those who stayed until the end-no matter how hot the oven was that day!!-, gave their support and cleaned the place after it ended. Not to forget the helping hands-our students, who came over and lent their hands to be the assistants since our booth is one of the favourite booths.

With non-stop visitors came to our booth, they tried the games and other activities that we had prepared, it is undeniable that the visitors or the participants were so actively involved in those activities. A visit from our own Matric Director, Dr. Sariah, accompanied by KMPP director, Tn Hj Khairi and also KMK director, Tn Hj Raja Sulaiman, was an unforgettable moment. I am glad that everything went well...smoothly too.

Alhamdulillah..everything went well and smoothly despite of some difficulties that we had to face..

After all the hard work from all the English Unit members, it was a successful event. Hopefully we can run this kinda activity again in the future with or without a special celebrity as our guest. We really hope the rest of the college community can give their support to us so that this event will leave a good remark n memory to all..

ENGLISH WEEK 2011(7-12/2/2011)-Part 1

In conjunction with the English Week organized by none other than the English Unit itself, some activities were conducted for students and lecturers during that particular week such as, Scrabble, Spelling Bee, Choir, KMPP Idol, Story Telling competition, Story Writing competition, Poem Writing,Video Challenge contest, Win Lose or Draw, Happy Hour and also Scavenger Hunt. Of course there were so many other things to offer during that week, such as Animal Exhibition
(performance from Princess of Snake, monkey and horse riding).

All students and lecturers were invited and welcomed to join those activities. The winners for each competition would get their prizes after the contest. The climax for the English Week was the closing nite, when all the winners(1st place only) would perform on that nite. Performances from the winners for Story telling contest, choir and also KMPP Idol were really great and students really enjoyed themselves and at the same time, the winners(students) had the chance to show off their talents to the public.

The last but not least was the LIVE PERFORMANCE from none other than our local singer, Aizat. He sang five songs from his previous and latest albums. A very happening and lively performance from him, and he managed to interact very well with the students. His SUPERB voice and his active movement are a good combination and i doubt students will ever forget that.

What a happening closing nite!!!!

Yeah..finally we're done with the English Carnival.So, after this we can focus on something else.Huhu..i really enjoyed myself,altogether with my son.

Im really amazed with the students' creativity -Hayat students, in producing a very creative, entertaining n hillarious video clip for Video Challenge's contest. U never know what these students can actually come out with, n they are much much better in editing n using the new software for this-name it, maybe we never heard bout it before.

The winners for KMPP's Got Talents, are also not bad. They can sing very well, n i like their voice too. Hmm..i hope that wont stop them from studying. Well u know,singing alone isnt enuff nowadays.

The last but not least performer, i wud like to give her a credit is, none other than The First Runner Up in Anugerah Juara Lagu last month, Yuna.She, as simple as we know her, sang 5 songs for us.What a nite we had..i luve her voice, very very much.

She seemed so relax, sitting down, playing guitar while singing. Of coz we were waiting for her to sing her killer song, Dan Sebenarnya, when she sang 4 english songs first. I dun really admire her, i mean, yeah i do like her song, but im not her big fan. Who doesnt want to see a free n live performance after all, especially from a singer who juz won one of the biggest awards in our music industry? Me of coz no..The main reason why Yuna was invited is, to inspire the students as she has a very clean image, n educated too.
