Short Trip to Cameron Highlands Part 1

STRAWBERRY IN DA HOUSE

Salam...

After 7 years, finally i made my way to one of the famous places in Malaysia, Cameron Highlands. Frankly speaking, i went to this place in 2003/2004..huhu..It's been ages since i went there with my ex-colleagues when i was working in Pahang. I us
ed to go there everytime we had courses(most of the courses). Yeah..at that time, our government had more money of coz n cud support such trip. The weather there was much colder at that ti
me, plus everytime i went there, i usually felt unwell-cold, flu etc., because it was so chilly. It is a beautiful place where u can experience visiting the strawberry farms, tea plantations, vegetables farms etc.

So last weekend, i went there with my BFF, Pen Biru. Well, we actually did a very crazy thing. We went there without a proper plan coz she wanted to visit her auntie, mak long, who opens few shops selling t-shirts etc. So, such opportunity should not be wasted, so i agreed to accompany her..juz the two of us. I want to see the place, learn the route, where to go and so on before i take my family to that place later.

So, from Penang, we juz have to drive until Simpang Pulai exit-after Ipoh. After that, not that far from the exit, ull get to see a junction n signboard showing the road to Cameron Highlands. From Simpang Pulai, it is actually about 75km before u can reach the place. Such a long journey, mountain n hill...but no rushing..juz enjoy the ride.. Along the way, ull get to see "orang Asli" or native people selling the jungles' products such as rebung and "madu" or honey, pure honey.

After one hour something, ull see another junction(turn right) going to Cameron Highlands. We went to Brinchang, where my friend's mak long is staying. We went to her shop...Mak long has four shops-all selling t-shirts, jackets, etc. and she's so busy managing the shops since she only has a son-my friend's cousin, Abg Pon and one staff, a female Indonesian teen
ager.

So, ana did take me to many places that are the attractions of Cameron Highlands. So here are some of the pictures that i would like to share with you guys..U might want to consider having a vacation there one day. But, you are strongly recommended not to go there during school holidays as there are so many people and the place will be very crowded plus there is a limited space for parking-for certain places....

Here are some of the pictures that i can share with you..
